Polad Bulbuloglu "It is time to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Every Azerbaijani should take part in the liberation of lands",
said Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu.
The diplomat recalled that the largest Diaspora organization of
Azerbaijan is in Russia, saying if military solution to the Nagorno
Karabakh conflict is chosen, much will depend on Azerbaijanis living
in Russia and everyone must be ready for this:
"If someone thinks to sit at home until the army releases occupied
land, this will not be like that. The whole country, the society
and people should rise up and unite to support their president and
liberate their lands. It cannot be otherwise".
According to the ambassador, the Azerbaijani Diaspora abroad should
accelerate the process of self-organization, eliminate fragmentation
and turn into a more mobile force. The ambassador also noted that the
decision on strengthening the ties between the Diaspora organizations
in Russia has been taken. The meeting was in the center of attention
at the last meeting with diaspora organizations.
The ambassador noted that the solution to the conflict on its
territory is a sovereign right of official Baku. He said international
organizations should call an aggressor by its name:
"They should stop treating Armenia like a sick child." According to
the ambassador, in case military solution to the problem is chosen, the
interference of the Collective Security Treaty Organization which has
Armenia as a member is legally impossible: "Russian authorities have
reiterated recognition of the territorial integrity and inviolability
of borders of Azerbaijan. According to the Ambassador, the CSTO
(Collective Security Treaty Organization) may intervene only if
Azerbaijan violates the territorial integrity of the Armenia: "But not
the Azerbaijani territory is implied. Therefore, the interference of
a third country in the issue is impossible from a legal point of view"
