Festive Concert in the National Assembly
In the Park of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on
December 26 a New Year festive concert was held, and thousands of
children came to watch it. With the participation of different
characters of folk tales and Santa Claus and Snow Maiden the ceremony
opened by lighting the big Christmas tree, which was placed in the
yard o the National Assembly. The festive concert was continued with
the performances of youth singing and dancing different groups and
Armenian pop singers.
RA President Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, RA NA Speaker Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan
with their wives, members of the government and parliament, other
officials attended this festive concert, which was organized within
the framework of Open Doors programme. The officials walked around the
viewers, handed over the New Year presents to the children and
congratulated on their New Year, wishing them all the best.
