ARMENIAN PRESIDENT INVITED TO EASTERN PARTNERSHIP SUMMIT IN PRAGUE

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met Friday with
his Czech counterpart Vaclav Klaus to discuss bilateral ties and
Armenia-EU relations.
"Eastern Partnership is an important mechanism for consistent
development of relations between the European Union and the South
Caucasus," the Czech President said and invited Mr. Sargsyan to the
first ever EP Summit due in Prague on May 7.
For his part, President Sargsyan said Armenia is determined to continue
the process of democratic reforms and welcomed the EU decision to
grant GSP + to Armenia, a move that will help strengthen economic
ties with the EU.
He also briefed on the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict
settlement process and normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations,
the RA leader's press office reported.
