WITHIN THE FRAMEWORKS OF "SHANGHAI 2010" EXHIBITION THE ARMENIAN NATIONAL DAY TO BE MARKED

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 2, ARMENPRESS: The preparatory works of Armenia's
participation in the "Shanghai 2010" exhibition continue. The chief
commissioner of these works is the Armenian Economy Minister, the
national operator - the Armenian Development Agency (ADA).
Executive director of ADA Robert Harutyunian told Armenpress that 185
states and 45 international organizations presented applications of
participation in the exhibition. Armenia will be represented with a
pavilion of 500 square meters. A National day is appointed for all
the participant states. The Armenian National day will be marked on
September 21, 2010.
According to R. Harutyunian the exhibition which is organized once
in five years this time will be unprecedented with its sizes and
scope. At present the concept of Armenian participation is being
worked out. The aim is not so commercial, but is the refer to the
town building issues in the context of the country economy during
the six months of the exhibition.
