MATERAZZI WON CASE AGAINST "THE SUN"

After the World Cup, famous "The Sun" weekly wrote that Materazzi
abused Zinedine Zidane swearing his mother. The Italian footballer
applied to the court. In May 2008 the paper wrote another article
apologizing for rumors. But the footballer used the opportunity and
managed to get compensation from the paper for moral loss.
"The Sun" made a decision to pay the demanded sum without waiting
for the court decision. It is known that Materazzi won another two
cases against "Daily Star" and "Daily Mail" papers.
