ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN GOVERNMENTS SIGN AGREEMENT ON PROVIDING 500 MILLION USD STATE CREDIT TO ARMENIA

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, : As a result of negotiations between Armenian and
Russian governments an agreement has initially been signed on providing
a state credit. An official from the Armenian Finance Ministry told
Armenpress that according to the agreement the Russian side will
provide 500 million USD state credit to Armenia for neutralizing the
negative consequences of the world financial crisis. The credit will
be provided with 15 years' term of which four years with privileged
conditions.
The financial agreement does not suppose implementation of any not
financial committements by Armenia and will be provided with smooth
conditions.
