YEREVAN, February 12. /ARKA/. ARKA News Agency published next quarterly
bulletin "Indicators of activity of Armenian banks" by forth quarter
of 2008.
The bulletin is based on unified financial reports of banking
organizations published in the press, as well as on additional
information given by banks.
The bulletin consists of 80 pages of tabular material
on banking indicators and has ten main sections
describing banking system: 1. General description of
banks. 2. Assets. 3. Liabilities. 4. Active and Passive Operations of
Banks with Non-Residents. 5. Capital. 6. Profits/Losses. 7. Information
on Cash Flow. 8. Liquidity and Capitalization Ratio. 9. Normative
Indicators of Risk. 10. Profit and Earnings Yields of Banks.
The information contained in the book, makes it possible to provide
an overall picture of the financial condition of banks and carry out
a comparative analysis of their activities.
ARKA Agency operates from May 1, 1996, and specializes in financial,
economic and political information. The agency issues a quarterly
bulletin, "The Main Indicators of Armenia's Banks" since 1999,
a quarterly bulletin, "Lending Agencies of Armenia", since March,
2005, "Financial Indicators of Banks" since May 2006, "Indicators of
Insurance Companies" since July 2008.
