ABDULLAH GUL: HEARING OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE MIGHT HARM TURKISH-AMERICAN RELATIONS

If the Congress of the United States hears the question of Armenian
Genocide it might harm Turkish-American relations, announced
the President of Turkey Abdullah Gul, reports Turkish media. The
President of Turkey has also mentioned that the issue might even harm
Armenian-Turkish relations.
Note that Turkish party is concerned about the hearing of article on
Armenian Genocide and has strengthened its power against it. Turkey
is concerned that the President of the U.S. Barack Obama will notify
the term "genocide" in his speech to Armenians on 24 April.
Remind: recently the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan
said in a press conference that Turkey has not changed its position
concerning Nagorno Karabakh issue and together with Azerbaijan they
keep one direction.
