The global financial-economic crisis has not affected Armenia
or has affected partially, Executive Director of the Enterprise
Incubator Foundation Bagrat Yengibaryan and Director General of the
Synopsis Armenia Company Hovik Musaelyan told a press conference
today. Representatives of the IT sphere said to be satisfied with
the government's anti-crisis program.
According to Bagrat Yengibaryan, concrete steps are being taken. "There
are several companies where the government is a shareholder, and it
is, first of all, the field of information technologies. It's not
accidental, since it is the most advanced sphere in Armenia today,"
he said.
Director General of the Synopsis Armenia Company Hovik Musaelyan
expressed the opinion that the achievements in the sphere are
obvious. "Out Company has no shortage of orders, none of the employees
has been fired.
Under the conditions of such a crisis the field of Information
Technologies could even develop. However, companies should be able
to invest in new tools and technologies, otherwise the company will
have no future," Hovik Musaelyan said.
