LEBANESE POLITICAL LEADERS GREET
HIS HOLINESS ARAM I ON THE OCCASION OF ARMENIAN CHRISTMAS
Former President Amin Gemayel visited His Holiness Aram I to convey his good
wishes for Christmas. The visit provided the opportunity for them to assess
the situation in the Middle East and Lebanon.
Earlier, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Michel Sleiman, and
the Prime Minister, Fouad Seniora, called His Holiness to convey their
Christmas wishes. The House speaker, Mr. Nabih Berri, also sent his
greetings through his representative, MP Hagop Pakradouni, who attended the
Christmas liturgy on Tuesday.
