PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA RECONFIRMS DETERMINATION OF ARMENIA TOWARDS IMPLEMENTATION OF POINTS OF PACE RESOLUTIONS

YEREVAN, JANUARY 15, ARMENPRESS: President of Armenian Serzh Sargsyan
received today co-rapporteurs of the PACE Monitoring Commission John
Prescott and Jorge Columbien.
Presidential press service told Armenpress that during the meeting
the sides discussed issues connected with the implementation of PACE
1609 and 1620 resolutions.
The president of the country expressed gratitude to the co-rapporteurs
for visiting Armenia before the plenary session of the PACE, pointing
out that the further development of democracy stems from the interests
of the Republic of Armenia and highly assessed the role of the Council
of Europe in that direction.
The president of the country reconfirmed the determination of the
Armenian authorities towards the implementation of the points of
the resolutions.
