    Armenian metals company Armenia Copper Programme (ACP) reduced
    unrefined copper production 6.8% in 2008 compared with 2007 to 6,480
    tonnes, the company's PR department told Interfax.

    Copper sales fell 13.6% to 6,251 tonnes.

    All the copper was exported to Europe.

    ACP processed 34,258 tonnes of copper concentrate in 2008, down from
    39,230 tonnes in 2007.

    The Liechtenstein-registered Vallex F.M. Establishment owns 81%
    and Russia-based businessman Valery Mejlumian owns 19% of ACP.
