A new information security process is going to be formed by the
initiation and under the control of the National Security Council
of Armenia. The decision is based on the recommendations made by
the president during the meeting held between the president and the
national security officials.
The formation of such a process is more than necessary. We, as a
nation, are in need of information protection, in order to be able
to put into circulation accurate and objective information about
Armenian issues.
Today, the open information system functions in a general,
all-inclusive way. There is the system that works under the control of
the state and there are media outlets, think tanks, on demand articles
and research centers established by non-governmental organizations. The
information field is over-satiated more than ever; it has provided
limitless outreach through the Internet to anyone found anywhere
in the world, who by a touch on the keyboard can get introduced to
subjects in a head turning speed.
We are faced with the need on a daily basis to screen the information
from the misinformation, specially when implementing information
policy. Moreover, when we take into consideration the mechanism of
the Turkish and Azerbeijani individual and global misinformation,
that necessity of screening is transforms from a daily necessity to
an hourly one.
It must be noted that the war waged by the Turkish-Azerbeijani united
information front against the Armenian people is not fought with equal
weapons. We are speaking about state budgets, the preparedness of
human resource, the unproportional numbers of media representatives
and media outlets, etc. This mechanism functions day and night both
to redirect the stream of the news of Armenian issues and by using
journalistic art of lying to lie explicitly. And this is done on
the highest levels; and this was going on even in the days of the
Armenian-Turkish rapproachement.
Considering that the Turkish-Azerbeijani united mechanism of
misinformation is conducted by the highest levels, is well organized
and functions with aspirations of professionality, it is necessary
to shape the process of security for the Armenian information system
with practical implementation methods without any delays.
No need to say that the gathering of the all-Armenian human resources
in the Armenian information field is an imperative for the equipping
of the Armenian information sector by the necessary structures and
protocols.
The Armenian information security is not only a matter concerning
Armenia. Specially knowing that the opposing side is unleashing this
war around the world. The fronts that have been opened are many and the
compelling situations are limitless. And all the reasons are in place
for the human resources involved in the Armenian information system
in the Diaspora to be involved in the formation of the information
security strategy.
It's a long road and in order to face and organize the operations
to overcome the efforts of the opposing side as well as the means it
uses and the purposes it pursues, all-Armenian resources must be used.
Surely, more security guarantees can be maintained in that way and
the responses of the Armenian side would become more effective. Also
the entrepreneurship...
