PROTEST ACTIONS EXPECTED IN RUSSIA
On Saturday both the Opposition and the Power representatives are
going to hold protest actions all over Russia.
First, protest actions will be held by Communists and drivers against
anti-crisis activities of the Government, BBC (news.bbc.co.uk)
reports. The former will be acting under the slogan «No To Government
Anti-national Policy Under Crisis». They will address their complaints
with regard to slash in workforce and price increase. Drivers will be
protesting against high car import taxes.
On the same day protest actions under the slogan «People. Medvedev.
Putin. We will win together.» will be carried out by «United Russia»
Power party. The action will be directed toward protection of the
Government anti-crisis policy. Thousands of people are assumed to
support these protest actions.
In Moscow about 10 actions of protest are expected to take
place. «United Russia» has planned to collect about 15 thousand people
in the Russian capital.
