215 CONVICTS RELEASED FROM ARMENIAN PRISONS UNDER AMNESTY AS OF JUNE 25

YEREVAN
In accordance with the RA National Assembly's Decision of June 19 on
Declaring an Amnesty, 215 convicts were released from prisons of RA
Ministry of Justice as of June 25, NT correspondent was informed by
spokesman for the Ministry's Criminal Enforcement Department Arsen
Babayan on June 29.
According to him, 38 convicts were released from Nubarashen prison,
11 from Artik prison, 15 from Vanadzor prison, 5 from Goris prison,
53 from Erebuni prison, 19 from Sevan prison, one person from
Yerevan-Kentron prison, 23 from Kosh prison, 24 from Vardashen prison,
7 from Hospital of Convicts, 5 and 3 persons respectively from women's
and juveniles' units of Abovian prison, 2 from the open correctional
facility, one person from Hrazdan prison, and 8 persons were released
from Meghri prison.
