Held: Alex Brown A vicar has been arrested on suspicion of organising
180 sham weddings for illegal eastern Europe immigrants.
Father Alex Brown - a popular figure in his parish in St Leonards,
East Sussex, for nearly 20 years - was detained in a dawn raid on
his rectory home.
A 32-year-old Ukrainian man, a Latvian woman, 27 - believed to be
one of the brides - and an Armenian man of 36 were also held.
