NKR PRESIDENT: "THE CONFLICT SETTLEMENT IS IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT THE KARABAGH PARTY'S PARTICIPATION"

President of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic Bako Sahakian discussed
with EU Special Representative in the South Caucasus Peter Semneby
the process of the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement.
According to the information of the Central Information Department of
NKR President's Office, the meeting took place at the NKR Permanent
Representation to Yerevan.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the current
stage and prospects of the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement.
Bako Sahakian noted that no comprehensive settlement was possible
without the Karabagh party's direct participation.
The head of state emphasized that Artsakh was interested in
establishing more extensive cooperation with the European Union in
various spheres. Bako Sahakian added that corresponding prerequisites
were available for that, in particular, NKR's adherence to the
democratic development.
NKR Foreign Minister Georgy Petrossian and other officials took part
in the meeting.
