    KRAKOW

The traditional school-leaving concert of Krakow Armenian Sunday School
pupils, entitled May Polish Armenian Eminent Artist Axentowicz's
Memory Live for Ever was held at the ceremonial hall of the Public
Library in the region of Malopolski, city of Krakow, Poland.

The school had prepared a rich artistic program with the assistance
of the RA Embassy in Poland. Particularly, the school pupils presented
the Lazy Huri and Kikos' Death tales' performances on the occasion of
Hovhannes Tumanian's 140th birth anniversary. By the way, the latter
was performed in the Polish language, staged with puppets.

As the RA Ministry of Diaspora reported, national dances were
performed, poems dedicated to Armenia were recited in the second part
of the concert. An exhibition-sale was also organized within the
framework of the event. The whole gain from it will be transferred
to 3-year-old Polish disabled girl Karolina Staro's current
account. Puppets dressed in Armenian national costumes, Armenian
letters from potter, miniature painting made on home-made parchment
made by the school pupils were presented at the exhibition-sale.

The gain from the exhibition-sale was 1 800 Polish zloties (5 678 US
