T. SARGSIAN TAKES PART IN THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE "ARMENIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE" PAN-ARMENIAN OLYMPIAD AND THE CONTEST OF ARMENOLOGY SCIENCES

YEREVAN, JULY 10, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian
took part today in the opening ceremony of "Armenian language and
literature" pan-Armenian Olympiad and the contest of Armenology
sciences, which is once in two years organized by the Armenian
Education and Science Ministry and which aims at encouraging the
knowledge of Armenian language, literature, history and culture,
contribute to the inputting of united standards in the Diaspora
educational centers as well as assisting the process of implementation
of educational projects.
Public relations department of Armenian Government told Armenpress
that in the greeting speech addressed to more than 130 contest
participating pupils the Prime Minister noted that the event which
has become traditional is a best opportunity to deepen the knowledge
in Armenian language, literature, history and culture as the Armenian
education in Armenia and the Diaspora is a basis for preservation of
the Armenian identity as well as one of the most important priorities
of our state's state policy.
