Armenia Establishes Air Link with Italy

The Armenian Tourism Development Agency, with the support of its
Italian representative, Nadia Pasqual, has made great strides in
promoting Armenia to the Italian market. So much so, Italian arrivals
to Armenian Hotels increased from 2007 to 2008 by 55% compared to 18%
for arrivals overall.

Government's tourism promotional arm in June 2001. In partnership with
private businesses, it aims to market Armenia in local and
international markets, and create programs aiding the overall
development of Armenia's tourism industry.
