VI International Film Festival "Golden Apricot" "La Pivellina"
(Girl) of an Italian director Tizza Covi and the Austrian director
Rainer Frimmel is presented. The film tells of a two-year old girl,
abandoned by his mother in the park and sheltered by the family of
traveling circus actors.
"It was necessary to show the indifference of Italian society to
people through the language of cinema. It became impossible do not
talk about the problem, about the irresponsibility," Rainer Frimmel
told today's meeting with reporters.
The film "La Pivellina" won the Europa Cinemas prize at the
International Film Festival in Cannes in 2009.
