    Arminfo. The Tu-154 aircraft of Caspian Airlines company which crashed
    in Iran on 15 July, was insured by 'Iran Insurance' at about 2-3 mln
    EUR, representative of the Armenian office of Caspian Airlines told
    ArmInfo correspondent.

    He also added the aircraft costs about $4,5 mln. It was produced
    in 1987 and Caspian Airlines company has started using it since
    1993. The aircraft also had the responsibility insurance against the
    third person at 50 mln EUR.

    This policy of insurance is repaired if the aircraft damages a building
    or any other facility when crashed. He said that the crashed Tu=154
    was fully repaired in 2005 at one of the plants in Minvodi (Russia). It
    was also technically inspected in June 2009 and was allowed to flight
    till 2010.

    He also said that all the passengers of the Teheran-Yerevan flight were
    insured in 'Iran Insurance' company at 32 thsd EUR each. To recall,
    on 15 July the passenger aircraft Tu-154, which was implementing
    Tehran-Yerevan flight, crashed and all 153 passengers and 15 members
    of the crew died. The Caspian Airlines is the 100% Iranian company. The
    crashed aircraft was in leasing.
