Kremlin upbeat about Russia-Armenia-Azerbaijan summit on N.-Karabakh

    MOSCOW July 18

A meeting on Saturday between the presidents of Russia, Armenia and
Azerbaijan in seeking a solution to the Armenian-Azeri conflict over
Nagorno-Karabakh was "prolonged and, in our assessment, very
constructive," an aide to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said.

Medvedev and his Armenian and Azeri counterparts, Serzh Sargsyan and
    Ilham Aliyev, met in Moscow.

"In the course of today's meeting between the Russian, Azeri and
Armenian presidents, Dmitry Medvedev reaffirmed the readiness of
Russia as a co-chairman of the Minsk Group [an Organization for
Security and Cooperation in Europe body mediating in the conflict] to
continue efforts to find mutually acceptable decisions," Medvedev's
    aide, Sergei Prikhodko, said.
