Yerevan, 21 No document has yet been signed between Armenia and Turkey
on normalization of bilateral relations, Armenian Foreign Minister
Edvard Nalbandyan said.
Speaking at a joint news conference with Swedish Foreign Minister Carl
Bildt, Nalbandyan said that if Yerevan and Ankara reach an agreement
and sign documents, their content will be about establishing diplomatic
relations, opening the border and setting up an inter-governmental
commission, which will deal with various issues, including restoring
confidence between the people of the two countries.
The Armenian foreign minister said that the chance to normalize
relations with Turkey has not been lost yet. Speaking about Baku's
discontent in connection with attempts to normalize Armenian-Turkish
relations, Nalbandyan said: "Normalization of relations will favourably
