Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has advised the Armenian side to
take the current realities into account in settling the conflict in
Nagorno Karabakh.
"If the Armenian side takes into account the actual situation,
Azerbaijan's growing opportunities. If it analyzes and takes into
account Azerbaijan's military, economic, political and diplomatic
successes, the question may be settled," he said at an expanded
Cabinet meeting.
"I am happy that the current state of the Azerbaijani army is such
that it can successfully carry out any task it is facing. All our
efforts serve one goal, the restoration of the territorial integrity
of Azerbaijan and the withdrawal of occupation forces from occupied
Azerbaijani territories," Aliyev said.
He stressed that Azerbaijan's approach to the conflict settlement
rests on international law.
