8TH PAN HOMENETMEN GAMES TO KICK OFF WITH OPENING CEREMONIES ON AUGUST 1

YEREVAN-The Opening Ceremonies of the 8th Pan Homenetmen Games will
take place on August 1 at Yerevan's Republic Square.
The ceremonies will begin at 8:30 PM local time with the march of
all participating athletes, followed by the formal program in the
presence of representatives from the Armenian Government, religious
clergy, and Official guests. The program will continue with a concert
featuring a large list of Armenian Artists.
The event will be broadcast in Armenia public television's Cultural
station "Ararad" at 11:00 PM.
Yerkir Media will also broadcast the ceremonies online via live
webcast at: http://www.yerkirmedia.am.
Throughout the Diaspora, the Ceremony will be broadcast Armenian
Public Television at 12pm PST.
