REPUBLICAN PARTY OF ARMENIA LEADS IN THE ELECTIONS WITH 190,171 VOTES

YEREVAN, JUNE 1, ARMENPRESS: According to the preliminary results
published by the Armenian Central Electoral Commission the leader of
the Yerevan municipal elections is the Republican Party of Armenia
which received 190,171 votes. Prosperous Armenia party comes the
second with 91,141 votes, followed by the Armenian National Congress
with 69,871.
Orinats Yerkir party received 20,959, ARF 18,648, People's party 8,569,
Armenian Labor Socialist Party 1951 votes.
Overall 412,464 eligible voters participated in the elections, the
number of valid bulletins is 401,310, the number of inaccuracies -
2104, the number of invalid bulletins - 10,493.
