protests against removal of substations from dwelling houses to yards,
Director General of 'Electric Networks of Armenia' CJSC Yevgeny
Gladunchik said today in the Public Services Regulatory Commission.
According to him, areas for only 29 substations out of 126 in Yerevan
have been prepared for carrying-out. 'Active protest of the population
is the most amazing. We have the Cadastre decision for allotment of
land, and a permission for construction, however, the opulation argues
against', he said. Y. Gladunchik also said the Company is ready for
discussions with representatives of the public sector concerning this
and other problems. He added that the Company will continue upgrading
of the equipment to reduce the duration and the number of power cuts.
