Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)
in Khankendi visited sergeant of Azerbaijani Army Anar Khanbaba
Hajiyev captured by Armenian Armed Forces on May 10, spokesperson
for ICRC office in Azerbaijan Gulnaz Guliyeva told APA.
He said that Hajiyev's detention conditions and health was monitored on
May 29, one-on-one talk was held with him. Hajiyev sent a letter to his
family. Representatives of ICRC in Berde met with the captive's family
yesterday. Hajiyev's letter will be handed over to his family today.
The sergeant's mother Naila Mammadova told APA that she will take
her son's letter from the local office of ICRC today.
Anar Khanbaba Hajiyev, 19, was drafted from Goranboy. He was captured
by Armenian Armed Forces at 9.45 on May 10.
