CENTRAL BANK OF ARMENIA HANDS OUT AWARDS TO WINNERS OF NOMINATION 'THE BEST INFORMATION BOOKLET 2009'

ArmInfo. Today, the Central Bank of Armenia handed out certificates
on the nomination 'The Best Information Booklet 2009'. 'HSBC
Bank Armenia', 'ISG' Insurance Company and 'ACBA Leasing' Leasing
Company have become the nomination winners. 'Such events are the best
decision in assurance of transparency of the financial system. They
also contribute to enhancement of the quality of services, rendered
to participants in the financial sector, and efficient protection
of consumers rights', member of the Board of Armenia's Central
Bank Vakhtang Abrahamyan said. According to him, this event aims
at assurance of delivery of a maximum reliable information by the
financial establishments about services.
CB of Armenia enlarged the list of nominations in 2009 and added
to nominations more: 'The Best Design and the Way of Information
Delivery' and 'The Best Content and High Availability'. In particular,
the nominations 'The Bet Design and the Way of Information Delivery'
were picked up by 'Converse Bank', 'Alfa Insurance' Insurance Company
and 'ACBA Leasing' Leasing Company.
'ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank', 'INGO Armenia' Insurance Company and
'Norvik' Universal Credit Company have become winners of the nomination
'The Best Content and High Availability'. According to CB data,
upon the results of the contest in 2009, it has become apparent that
essential progress is observed among participants in the insurance
market, while the credit companies have no essential positive changes.
To note, the Central Bank of Armeniahas been holding the contest
'The Best Information Booklet' since 2008.
