SAINT PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM TO BE LAUNCHED TODAY

Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum gets under way today. The
forum is focused on discussing the modern principles of the world
development, new approaches of launching international financial
institutes, the perspectives of banking system development, the
efficiency of the projects undertaken by the Governments, etc. Special
focus will be paid to the Russian role in solving out those problems.
Tomorrow "Economic day" of the forum will be launched covering world
economic crisis topic. The impact of the crisis on different countries
will be discussed.
The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan also attends the forum. It
is believed that the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will have
their fifth meeting in Saint Petersburg. Sargsyan-Medvedev meeting
is also scheduled in the frames of the forum.
