The amnesty is a positive idea, but the technology, which was
circulated to set the political prisoners free, is a little
incomprehensible for me", stated the member of the political board
of the Hanrapetutyun (Republic) Party Suren Surenyants.
He stated that Serge Sargsyan had to get used of his constitutional
right and to declare an amnesty. Surenyants is sure that the amnesty
will take place, because the government started to discuss widely
the idea of an amnesty plus the proposals of the March 1 commission
and the ombudsman.
