ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH CLERGYMEN ON MISSION IN ABROAD TO BE EXEMPTED OF CUSTOMS DUTIES WHEN IMPORTING THEIR PROPERTY INTO ARMENIA

ArmInfo. National Assembly of Armenia amended the Law on VAT as well
as the Customs Code in the second and final reading, Monday.
Deputy Minister of Finance Suren Karayan said the bill regulates the
property problems of Armenian Apostolic Church clergymen on mission
in abroad. In particular, they are exempted of customs duties when
importing personal property into Armenia after completion of activity
in abroad.
Earlier, the parliament provided similar privileges to Armenian
diplomats.
