ArmInfo. 'The South Caucasus states as well as the countries, connected
with these states, should join efforts to build their future,' says
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoghlu.
"Our fields and intentions are common, only in this case we can
build our future", Turkish mass medias report with reference to
Ahmet Davutoghlu, who commented on the statement of Armenian Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandyan saying "the ball in the Turkish-Armenian
game is currently on the Turkish side".
Davutoghlu said "these relations are not a ball that is in the middle
of the field, these relations have a common future".
"Turkey is ready to improve relations with Armenia as it does with
all its neighbors", he said.
"As for the fact that today the ball is on our side, we have passed
this process more than once. Not a ball but our common future is on
the field and we should build it together. This process should include
Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia and other participants
in the region. All of us should demonstrate good intentions and
avoid steps that might hamper these processes. We are watching these
processes with hope and expect the transformation of the region into
the source of peace, security and independence upon completion of
these processes", noted Davutoghlu. The Foreign Minister noted that
his country will support OSCE MG efforts in the resolution of the
Karabakh conflict.
