C.E.C. REPORTS FINAL RESULTS OF YEREVAN CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS: MANDATES ALLOCATED AMONG PROSPEROUS ARMENIA, ANC AND REPUBLICAN

The Central Electoral Committee has summed up on Saturday the final
results of Yerevan City Council elections held on 31 May. CEC reports
that totally 404 634 voters cast their ballots.
"Prosperous Armenia" has been voted by 89 131 voters, People's Party -
8 479, "Armenian national congress" alliance - 69 140, ARF - 18 094,
Labor socialist party of Armenia - 1936, Republican Party - 186 630,
"Country of Laws" - 20 126.
Garegin Azaryan, the president of the CEC reports that the mandates of
the Yerevan City Council have been allocated among Prosperous Armenia -
17 mandates; ANC - 13; and Republican Party - 35.
It's worth mentioning that the voting results in 7/7, 7/9, 8/15
polling stations have been announced invalid.
