Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasian Affairs. The fact that I
am paying my first regional visit to Armenia testifies to important
historic developments taking place in the country and the region,"
Philip Gordon, US Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasian Affairs,
told a press conference. During his visit to Armenia, the high ranking
American diplomat met with President, Foreign Minister, pro-opposition
figures and civil society representatives. He also visited Genocide
Memorial Complex and Genocide Museum.
