ENTERPRISES INCUBATOR FOUNDATION TO REPRESENT ARMENIA IN EURASEC HIGH-TECH CENTER

ArmInfo. The Enterprises Incubator Foundation, headed by Bagrat
Yengibaryan, will represent Armenia in EurAsEC High-Tech Center,
Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sarkisyan told journalists on June
9 on board of the airplane, on the way back from Moscow, from the
meeting of EurAsEC Intergovernmental Council.
According to the prime minister, the agreements reached in High-Tech
sphere suppose that every country will determine the best company
to represent its interests. "From this point of view, we have
decided that Armenia will be represented by Bagrat Yengibaryan",
he emphasized. T. Sarkisyan also said the Enterprises Incubator
Foundation (EIF) aims at creation of favourable conditions for
business development, as well as implementation and development
of innovations. "A certain potential has already been formed in
the Foundation due to the World Bank's assistance, and we think the
Foundation and its director will represent Armenia in these structures
in the best way, it will contribute to development of our potential
in up-to-date technologies", the premier emphasized and added that
this experience must be used for the joint work within the frames of
the Center.
To note, a concept of creation of EurAsEC High-Tech Center was approved
within the frames of the 23rd meeting of EurAsEC Intergovernmental
Council in Moscow. He Center should start working in July. Its
primary goal is assistance in development of scientific-technical
and innovative activities.
Enterprises Incubator Foundation is an Agency on business development
and incubation created in 2003 by the government of Armenia within
the frames of the World Bank programme for assistance in development
of the Information Technologies Sector in Armenia.
