PRELATE TO PRESIDE OVER DIVINE LITURGY AT
HOLY CROSS CATHEDRAL IN MONTEBELLO
On Sunday, June 14th, H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian,
Prelate, will preside over Divine Liturgy at Holy Cross Cathedral in
Montebello and will deliver the sermon.
In keeping with a years-long tradition, the graduating class of
Armenian Mesrobian School will attend Divine Liturgy and will receive Holy
Communion by the Prelate.
The Prelate will return from Lebanon this weekend where he has been
participating in the meetings of the Holy See of Cilicia Central Executive
Councils, presided over by H.H. Catholicos Aram I.
PRELATE TO BE REPRESENTED AT FUNDRAISING RECEPTION OF THE REAL MEDICINE
FOUNDATION
The Real Medicine Foundation, an organization that provides
humanitarian assistance and relief to poverty and disaster stricken areas,
will be hosting a fundraiser on the evening of Friday, June 12th, to benefit
the Shinuhayr health clinic in Armenia.
Very Rev. Fr. Barthev Gulumian will represent the Prelate at the
photo exhibit A Journey to Armenia, which will take place at the A & I
Photography Gallery in Hollywood, and will convey the Prelate's blessings.
THIRD ANNUAL ORIENTAL ORTHODOX CHURCHES
YOUTH SPIRITUAL GATHERING
On Saturday, June 20th, the third annual Oriental Orthodox Churches
Youth Spiritual Gathering will take place under the auspices of the Council
of Oriental Orthodox Bishops headed by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh
Mardirossian, Prelate, H.E. Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, H.E.
Archbishop Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan (Syriac Church), and H.G. Bishop
Serapion (Coptic Church).
The gathering will take place at St. Gregory Armenian Church in
Pasadena, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Youth from the three Churches will participate in the gathering
which will include morning prayers, remarks by the four spiritual leaders,
and discussion sessions led by clergy from each Church.
