ELECTION RESULTS WILL BE FELT FOR LONG

The Head of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun faction Vahan Hovhannisyan,
dwelling on the rough assessments on Armenia, which were given by
the U.S. State Department report and the decision of the Millennium
Challenge Corporation of depriving Armenia of 70 million dollars,
expressed his opinion, saying that the assessments are close to
the reality but there were also exaggerations. Vahan Hovhannisyan
stated that we all know that the 2008 presidential elections did
not pass normally. The mutual intolerance brought about clashes,
there were victims which created a political crisis. According to
Vahan Hovhannisyan, the opinion that the crisis is not overcome until
today is a little exaggerated.
Dwelling on the decision of the Millennium Challenge Corporation,
Vahan Hovhanisyan stated that it is not understandable why some
communes of Armenia have to be harmed, which road constructional
projects failed. He added that nevertheless there are also exact
assessments in the report.
