PACE CO-RAPPORTEURS TO ARRIVE IN ARMENIA

On June 15, John Prescott and George Colombier, Co-Rapporteurs on
Armenia's monitoring for PACE, will arrive in Armenia.
In the course of the meeting, the Co-Rapporteurs will have meetings
with the Armenian president Serge Sargsyan and the speaker of the
National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan.
Meetings with the NA deputy speaker, the head of the parliamentary
temporary commission to study March 1-2 events, Samvel Nikoyan,
the members of the Armenian delegation to PACE, the head of the NA
commission for education, science, culture, sport and youth issues
Artak Davtyan, the Armenian Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan,
the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, the Armenian Human
Rights Defender Armen Harutunyan, representatives of international
organizations are scheduled.
The Co-Rapporteurs will also meet with Levon Ter-Petrosyan,
representatives of non-governmental organizations, former members
of the fact-finding group, lawyers, wives of arrested people. The NA
