international affairs committee of State Duma Andrey Climov. According
to him, problems of Georgia started from the moment when they
reoriented from CIS to other far horizons, such as "Washington,
Brussels and NATO".
" Remaining in CIS, Georgian authorities could raise their country at
the cost of integration in the Commonwealth, as well as to save their
territorial integrity, since particularly in the framework of CIS they
could secure peaceful settlement of South-Ossetia problem", Klimov
said.
According to him, Georgia has received a heaviest political crisis,
the country has not joined NATO so far, two states dropped out of the
Georgia - Russia recognized independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia
at the end of last August , RIA Novosti reports.

resolutions `About Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of CIS', according to
which the formal procedure of withdraw from the Commonwealth has been
finalized. On Friday after two-month interval the legislative
authority of the country gathered for a plenary session, despite
continuing rallies of the Georgian opposition. `Georgia has already
left CIS. There is an official letter in that connection, which I sent
to relative bodies of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly a year
ago. Therefore today we finalize that process legally and with formal
