Armenia's first president: Serzh Sargsyan must resign and leave the
country
13 June 2009 [10:51] - Today.Az
"Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan must resign and leave the country",
said leader of oppositional Armenian National Congress, first
president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
This is the aim of the opposition, to which it will go calmly in terms
of law and without any radical actions.
"Serzh Sargsyan will undoubtedly leave his post before the term,
envisioned by the law", considers leader of the Armenian National
Congress. According to him, as soon as the ruling regime recovers from
the doubted victory in the elections of the Yerevan mayor, it will
have to face tough reality. After the ruling regime was completely
discredited, it has no enough resources for resolution of both
economic and external political problems.
"Serzh Sargsyan's regime will go down", said Ter-Petrosyan, noting
that time works in favor of opposition. "Time is on our side and we
need not hurry. We will wait".
