3RD FORUM ON TOURISM COMPETITIVENESS IN ARMENIA TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, June 15. /ARKA/. The 3rd forum "Tourism Competitiveness in
Armenia" is to be held in Yerevan on June 18.
The press service of the Competitive Private Sector of Armenia
(CAPS) reported that the forum has been organized by CAPS, the RA
Ministry of Economy, Armenian Tourism Development Agency and National
Competitiveness Fund.
The forum is aimed to promote the development of tourism cluster,
afford opportunities for cooperation, provide on-line information
on the present situation to the interested parties and assist the
resolution of problems.
Armenia's tourist industry is faced with serious difficulties because
of the global financial crisis. The forum participants will be informed
of the efforts made in different countries to reduce the recession
rates and get necessary recommendations.
CAPS and its principal partners will inform the participants in the
forum of their experience in applying present-day IT solutions in
the tourist industry through interrelations between ITR and tourism
clusters.
