CONSULTATION HELD ON JUBILEE EVENTS DEDICATED TO 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF TIGRAN PETROSIAN'S BIRTH

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenian President, Chairman of the
Republican Chess Federation Serzh Sargsyan laid flowers at Monument to
Tigran Petrosian on June 17 - the birthday of the world champion. Then
the president watched a tournament, which was dedicated to the
memory of the world-famous chess player. Armenian chess veterans,
representatives of the Children's and Juvenile School of Chess,
Olympic champions Artashes Minasian and Tigran Petrosian took part
in the tournament.
According to the RA presidential press service, a consultation with
the participation of Serzh Sargsyan and members of the Chairmanship of
the Chess Federation was held on the same day to discuss the jubilee
events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of T. Petrosian's birth.
