Armenia's Youth Orchestra to perform in Tehran

The Youth Orchestra of Armenia will perform in Tehran.
The Youth Orchestra of Armenia is scheduled to perform famous
classical pieces at the Vahdat Hall in the capital city of Tehran.
Conducted by Sergey Smbatian, the orchestra will be accompanied by
internationally-acclaimed Iranian pianist, Mahyar Moradi.
Tchaikovsky's piano concerto No. 1 and Dvorak's New World Symphony
will be among the pieces that will be performed during the event to be
held from July 1 to 3, 2009.
According to ISNA News Agency, the orchestra will also perform The
Tambourine Dance by the late Iranian conductor and composer, Heshmat
Sanjari.
The Youth Orchestra of Armenia includes over 70 musicians, who are
between the ages of 16 and 24 and are also students of the Yerevan
State Conservatory.
