UAE SUPPORT PEACEFUL AND DIPLOMATIC SETTLEMENT OF NKR CONFLICT

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ United Arab Emirates support peaceful and diplomatic
settlement of NKR conflict, RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian
told a joint news conference with UAE Foreign Minister Abdallah bin
Zayed Al Nahyan on June 21 in Yerevan.
"All existing conflicts should be given a peaceful and diplomatic
settlement. Negotiations should be on bilateral relations' agenda
and become a cornerstone for normalization of relations between
conflicting parties," UAE FM noted.
Commenting on Azerbaijan's statement regarding possible initiative
of Baku on return of Azeri refugees to NKR, Edward Nalbandian noted
that the issue was not touched upon in negotiations.
"The issue could only be discussed upon full settlement of NKR
conflict. Besides, the issue of over 400 Armenian refugees should be
taken into consideration," RA FM said.
