PERSON GIVING FALSE INFORMATION THAT ARMENIANS WILL EXPLODE MAIDEN TOWER DETAINED IN AZERBAIJAN'S CAPITAL

Baku. Elnur Mammadli - APA. Baku Main Police Office detained Shamakhy
resident Khalilov Vusal Rafael, who had given gave false information
about a bomb planted in the Maiden Tower.
Baku Main Police Office told APA that Khalilov called "112" service at
23.30 on June 20 and said a bomb had been planted in the Maiden Tower.
Sabail district police carried out operations. The information was
not proved. The bomb hoaxer was identified and detained.
Criminal case has been launched on the fact on Article 216 (giving
false information about terror attack) of the Criminal Code.
Interior Ministry made a statement about it. The statement says an
unidentified man called "102" service at 01.30 on June 20 and said
the Maiden Tower would be exploded by Armenians. Necessary measures
will be taken, the information was not proved. It was determined that
Shamakhy resident Vusal Khalilov had given the information. Baku Main
Police Office and Shamakhy region police office carried out operations
and detained Khalilov.
