/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Over the past 48 hours, Iran's Home Ministry has
twice appealed to reformist movement leader Mir-Hossein Mousavi
to respect law and free expression of popular will. In a statement
released recently, Interior Ministry urges Mousavi to discontinue
unauthorized protests, otherwise threatening him with prosecution,
Reuters reports.
Ali Shahruhi, Head of Iranian Majilis' Legislative Committee, called
for arresting the liberal politician for organizing mass protests in
Tehran. He finds that ex-premier's activities pose national security
threats.
According to agency reports, atmosphere in Iran has fully normalized
over the recent days. However, streets are still full of Basij militia
and police.
On Thursday, June 25, ex-Speaker Mehdi Karrubi's campaign headquarters
called for organizing mourning marches in Tehran and other towns.
In the meantime, presidential contender Mohsen Rezai expressed his
complaint about electoral falsifications
