MP VARTKES MAHDESSIAN MEETS COMMUNITY YOUNGSTERS JOINING THE CYPRUS ARMY

Last week MP Vartkes Mahdessian invited the young men of our community
who will be joining the Cyprus army this July, at a special meeting
at his office. Seven of them and their parents turned up to listen
to Colonel Simos Merkourios who gave extensive details about army
life. Also participating in the meeting was one of the first Armenian
Cypriots who joined the Cyprus army last year - Armen Armenagian -
who shared his experiences with the new recruits.
At the end of the meeting, Armenian MP Vartkes Mahdessian wished them
a safe service.
