ARMENIAN PRESIDENT HOPES FOR INPROVEMENT OF BILATERAL ECONOMIC RELATIONS WITH GEORGIA

YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan expressed
hope Armenia and Georgia will manage to improve bilateral economic
relations.
"This is more urgent now, in the context of global economic crisis.
Despite the existence of communications and infrastructures, our
markets have not yet been mutually assimilated by businessmen of
the two countries," said Sargsyan during the reception in honor of
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's official visit to Armenia.
According to the press-service of the Armenian President, Sargsyan
also expressed assurance that bilateral economic relations lay the
base for solid long-term partnership.
"We have a big potential, but unfortunately not fully used," Sargsyan
stressed.
